In ancient Rome - The ring, and its curse, begin with the beautiful Theodosia.

Medieval England - The ring finds its way into a notorious outlaw's possession only to curse the woman he loves.

The Scottish Highlands - The ring escapes with a little girl... and the curse follows.

About Ever My Love - Guest Post by Kathryn Le Veque

Ever My Love: The Lore of the Lucius Ring has had an interesting evolution. It is the planned sequel to the USA Today bestselling collection "With Dreams Only of You", which hit the USAT in July of 2015. At the time, there was nothing else like it out there - a collection of six novellas, each one in a different genre and written by a top author in that genre, following the story of a Roman gladius (sword) that was passed down through the male line of the same family. The sword was said to curse the man who owned it, making him unlucky in love, but that curse was licked in every novella and each short story had its own HEA. We had such a great response to it that we immediately planned the sequel.

Now, since the first book involved a Roman soldier named Lucius, and the sword upon which he wrote a poem to his wife, Theodosia, we decided to make the sequel from Theodosia's point of view. Lucius had given her a very old family ring and there happened to be a curse on that ring as well - if the owner of the ring doesn't find love before her twenty-fifth birthday, then the red stone will turn black and the owner will be alone forever. We were so excited to write this collection - Christi Caldwell, Cynthia Wright, Eva Devon, Eliza Knight, Suzan Tisdale, and myself - but as the year progressed and life caught up with us all - Christi, Cynthia, and Eva unfortunately had to leave us. So Suzan and Eliza knew we didn't want this project to die - it was such a beautiful legend to tell - so we reached out to three authors whom we felt would write absolutely smashing novellas to blend with our vision for the sequel. Bringing on Sabrina York, Cheryl Bolen, and Susan Stoker was so exciting for us, and we were thrilled to work with these lovely and talented women. The stories they have brought forth about The Lucius Ring are truly visionary - rich in detail, true to the continuing story line of the original collection, we are so pleased with the way the stories all came together and seamlessly melded. I think readers are going to lose themselves in these tales, and in the journey of The Lucius Ring, because every novella in the collection is a page-turner.

Ever My Love: The Lore of the Lucius Ring was definitely a story that needed to be told, and we're extremely proud and happy to be able to do that. Happy reading!
