Romance Wrap Up - February 15 2015

Well, it's been an interesting week, culminating in me being somewhat devoured by leeches. That, however, is a story for another time. For now, here are our top new release romance picks of the week!
New in Historical Romance - Miss Winters Proposes by Frances Fowlkes

From the Blurb:

An unseemly proposal...

Juliet Winters has come up with a wonderfully devious plan to avoid marrying her vile cur of a cousin. First, she'll propose marriage to her handsome, reclusive neighbor, Lord Colwyn. Then, once she has both name and financial support, she'll be able to pursue her true (if rather unladylike) passion -- breeding dogs. But when Lord Colwyn rejects her proposal... Juliet must take matters into her own hands.

The last thing Benjamin Colwyn expected was for the spirited Juliet to blackmail him into marriage -- especially not by kidnapping his beloved canine companion. Yet despite his yearning for peace and isolation, he finds himself wanting to help her, if only to protect her from a marriage to a disreputable scoundrel. He certainly doesn't expect the woman who pilfered his dog to steal his heart, as well...

Miss Winters Proposes by Frances Fowlkes is a historical romance, released by Entangled on February 9 2015.
New in Contemporary Romance - Can't Walk Away by Molly McLain

From the Blurb:

A convenient, casual, and completely orgasmic fling. What more could a girl want?

For the past year, barista Ally Barrett has been content to spend her weekends distracting River Bend's hottest commodity--the sexy, too-serious sheriff. Their casual arrangement suits her independent nature just fine...until it doesn't.

Sheriff and Army Guardsman Mark Dunn lives to serve the people of his community and his country. Ally is the only woman who's never asked for more than his nights--and the only one he's ever considered giving his days, as well. Too bad duty says otherwise.

When an unexpected pregnancy flips their no-strings understanding on its head--and tarnishes both of their reputations--Mark has a tough time proving he wants a real relationship and not just reelection. But if this sheriff knows anything, it's how to fight for what he believes in--Ally's heart.

Can't Walk Away by Molly McLain is a contemporary romance, released February 9 2015.
New in Fantasy and Science Fiction Romance - Winter's Bees by E.E. Ottoman

Lord Marcel de la Mont de Anges, the Marquis de Montespan is a brilliant mathematician, member of the mechanical animation movement and all around dandy. He's been in love with shy, quiet entomologist and youngest member of the royal family, Prince Gilbert André XVI, since they were children. The Emperor's plans to arrange a marriage between Marcel and Gilbert should have been the answer to all his secret fantasies.

But Gilbert is still reeling from a nasty breakup, and he cannot picture the man he regards as a brother becoming his lover. The order to marry has thrown their relationship into disorder, and if they cannot sort out the changes there may not even be a friendship left for them to save...

Winter's Bees by E.E. Ottoman is a steampunk romance, released by Less Than Three Press on February 11 2015.
